Motion lyd legal
Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to and use of the Motion lyd service.
Effective and last updated: October 11, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
By creating an account, connecting an external service, or otherwise using Motion lyd, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you use Motion lyd for a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The Motion lyd service
Motion lyd is a lead-management service that helps businesses collect leads from intentional lead sources, organize and qualify those leads, prepare suggested replies, communicate through connected channels, and manage follow-up. Features may change as the service develops.
Motion lyd is not an emergency service, legal or financial adviser, or system of record for regulated information. You remain responsible for your business decisions, communications, and customer relationships.
3. Accounts and authorized users
You must provide accurate account information, keep login credentials secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for managing access granted to team members.
You must be legally capable of entering into these terms and use the service only for lawful business purposes. You may not share access outside your authorized business workspace or attempt to access another customer’s data.
4. Your data and responsibilities
You retain ownership of information and content you submit to Motion lyd. You grant us a limited right to host, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service and meet our legal obligations.
You are responsible for:
- having the rights, notices, and consents needed to collect and use lead, contact, and communication data;
- complying with privacy, marketing, anti-spam, telemarketing, and consumer-protection laws that apply to your business;
- honoring opt-outs, do-not-contact requests, and channel-specific messaging rules; and
- reviewing the accuracy and appropriateness of information and draft messages before acting on or sending them, and maintaining accurate approved business information for any automatic replies you enable.
5. Connected services
Motion lyd may connect with services operated by third parties, including Google, Meta, Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. By connecting an account, you confirm that you are authorized to grant the requested permissions and instruct us to exchange information with that provider to deliver the connected features.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. We do not control their availability, decisions, account restrictions, or changes. You can disconnect an integration to stop future access, subject to information we must retain under law or these terms.
6. AI-assisted features
Motion lyd may provide AI-generated summaries, classifications, suggestions, and draft replies. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate. It is provided to assist—not replace— your judgment. First-contact emails and follow-up drafts require your review and approval. If you enable automatic replies for Gmail, Messenger, or Instagram, you authorize Motion lyd to respond to new incoming messages from linked leads using your configured business information. You remain responsible for that information, your automation settings, and reviewing conversations that need human attention. Automatic replies can be paused per conversation or disabled in Agent Settings. Website Chat is configured separately.
Do not rely on AI output for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or other professional decisions. Do not submit information you are not permitted to process through an AI service.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Motion lyd to:
- break the law, violate another person’s rights, or facilitate harm;
- send spam, deceptive messages, harassment, or unlawful marketing;
- upload malware or interfere with the service or its security;
- probe, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass technical limits except where such a restriction is prohibited by law;
- misrepresent your identity or authorization; or
- use the service to build or train a competing model or product using data or output you do not have the right to use.
We may investigate violations and restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, or the service.
8. Fees and billing
Paid features, prices, taxes, and billing periods are shown when you subscribe. Unless stated otherwise, subscription charges recur until canceled. If you subscribe at the launch price, that price remains unchanged while your subscription stays active. You authorize our payment provider to charge the selected payment method for amounts due.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase. We will provide notice of material pricing changes as required before they apply to a future billing period.
9. Intellectual property and feedback
Motion lyd and its software, design, branding, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your authorized subscription or access.
If you provide feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or payment, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep Motion lyd reliable, but the service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, failures, security events, or third-party providers. We may add, change, or discontinue features. We will provide reasonable notice when a material change significantly reduces paid functionality, where practical.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Motion lyd and disconnect integrations at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations of these terms, nonpayment, security risk, unlawful activity, provider requirements, or where continued operation would create harm or legal exposure.
After termination, your right to use the service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute-related terms.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Motion lyd is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce a particular business result.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Motion lyd and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Motion lyd for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Motion lyd or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised terms and update the date above. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.
